Select broadband services in Coimbatore and Hyderabad have been enhanced by ACT Fibernet to provide more bandwidth and faster speeds. As a consequence of the move, the Internet service provider (ISP) in Coimbatore is now giving 1250GB of monthly data allotment and 60Mbps speed for Rs. 675, while its consumers in Hyderabad are limited to the standard Rs. 500 plan with 1000GB data quota and 40Mbps speed. Customers in Coimbatore who use ACT Fibernet’s optical fiber-based internet service may now get a Rs. 549 ‘Starter’ package.
ACT Fibernet has increased data allowance for its four different broadband plans, which start at Rs. 675 and go up to Rs. 1,125, for Coimbatore residents. Subscribers who pay Rs. 675, Rs. 1,325, or Rs. 1,499 for a monthly subscription receive extra speed perks. The portfolio’s ACT Basic plan, which costs Rs. 675 per month, has had its speed increased from 50Mbps to 60Mbps. The plan’s previous data limit of 1000GB has been increased to 1250GB. In addition to the Basic plan, ACT Fibernet has improved the Rs. 825 plan to provide 2000GB of data, up from 1500GB previously. The Rs. 1,025 ACT plan has now seen its data capacity increased to 3300GB from 2000GB. Similarly, the Rs. 1,125 package now includes 3300GB of data, up from 2500GB previously.
The Rs. 1,325 and Rs. 1,499 tariffs have also been enhanced to 300Mbps and 350Mbps speeds, respectively. The Rs. 1,325 plan previously had a maximum speed of 250Mbps, while the Rs. 1,499 plan had a maximum speed of 300Mbps. Coimbatore’s top-tier plans, which start at Rs. 2,999 a month, remain unchanged.
