Ben Giladi, producer of ‘Manodrome’ and ‘Pig,’ has launched the production banner Liminal Content — EFM

Manodrome

Ben Giladi, the producer of Pig and Manodrome, is formally establishing his production label Liminal Content at this year’s Berlin Film Festival, where Manodrome premiered in Competition.

The organization will concentrate on material and filmmakers from other markets to bring them to Hollywood.

The UK-based film and television company works in development, production, and finance.

Giladi’s producing credits include Michael Sarnoski’s breakout debut Pig, starring Nicolas Cage, and Netflix’s iconic true-crime series Shadow of Truth, in addition to Manodrome, which stars Jesse Eisenberg, Adrien Brody, and Odessa Young.

Giladi (shown below) previously worked with Len Blavatnik’s AI Film, which funded and produced films such as The Butler, American Animals, and I, Tonya. He was also a founding partner of the Israeli documentary production company EGG Films, which was acquired by Fremantle earlier this year.

Liminal’s slate includes Manodrome, which was co-produced with Felix Culpa’s Gina Gammell, Riley Keough, and Ryan Zacarias, and Moshe Rosenthal’s breakthrough Karaoke, which Greenwich Entertainment took up for North American distribution.

Independence, Rosenthal’s second feature, is also being produced by the business. The film is a UK/Israeli co-production that will shoot this fall in London and Tel Aviv. Green Productions’ Maya Fischer and Alona Refua co-produced the film.
