Canadian hip hop artist Nyukyung has been a path toward changing up both his career and business strategy. The creative’s career as an independent artist has already been a successful one. Nyukyung’s project ‘Trap Harmonic’ charted at number 3 on the iTunes hip hop charts and the album gained the singer notoriety and grew his fan base a ton.
Since that success, Nyukyung has been working on rebranding his image as an artist as well as expanding the value he can offer to others. The creative has shifted his focus towards helping other artists, by empowering them to create freely. “We recently just opened up a studio in Vancouver and plan to offer artists in the community resources and services that are difficult to obtain as an independent artist,” explained Nyukyung.
Nyukyung says the purpose of the rebrand is to signify growth and show others that he has other skills to offer the world. “My rebrand is a way for me to be a role model to other artists and lend a helping hand to those who need it,” he explained.
Some of the biggest changes include Nyukyung’s new, healthier appearance, his push to focus more on a futuristic vibe of artistry in his productions and visuals, as well as his music.
The artist has plans to release an EP in the coming months with his close friend Quiss and a series of help videos under the alias “Coach King”.
