The entire Evil Dead Rise trailer has to be released. The movie, the newest installment in the deceptively large Evil Dead series, stars Bruce Campbell as Ash, an adventurous S-Mart employee who battles Candarian demons intent on consuming human blood. Following their debut in Sam Raimi’s 1981 film The Evil Dead, the star and director worked together on the sequels Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness.

With the Starz series Ash vs. Evil Dead, the Ash story will briefly resurface., which aired for three seasons starting in 2015, the property stayed dormant until the 2013 remake of Evil Dead, which starred Jane Levy. April 21, 2023, will see the release of Evil Dead Rise, bringing a new, loosely related plot to the franchise.

Although he won’t be acting in the movie, producer Bruce Campbell offered a sneak glimpse of Evil Dead Rise yesterday and said a full trailer would be published the following day. Warner Bros. kept its word and released the complete trailer this morning. It provides a deeper look at the Los Angeles family whose residence will soon turn into a bloody, terrifying charnel house. Why There Are 7 Italian Sequels To The Evil Dead (Not Counting Army Of Darkness)

Here’s the contradiction: the Evil Dead franchise has seven films in Italy, not including Army of Darkness or the 2013 remake. Young Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell made the short film Within The Woods in order to persuade investors to fund the production of a feature-length version. Served as the inspiration for Evil Dead. Even though the short was shoddy and unpolished, it’s an intriguing prototype because it later used many of the same situations and concepts in the finished work. Following the failure of Crime Wave, which was Raimi and Campbell’s follow-up film, it was Evil Dead 2 that launched their respective careers.

The horror and comedy in Evil Dead 2 blend flawlessly, and Campbell became a genre legend.

With 1992’s Army Of Darkness, the two completed the Evil Dead film trilogy. This film to made by Universal, who, oddly enough, looking back, decided not to market it as an Evil Dead sequel. Although the movie was a flop, it subsequently enjoyed great success on VHS and DVD. With a bloody remake debuting in 2013 and Campbell donning the chainsaw once more for the Starz series Ash Vs. Evil Dead, which lasted for three seasons, is now considered horror royalty.

In 2022, a brand-new installment titled Evil Dead Rise will hit theatres. Between 2013’s reboot and Army of Darkness, fans of the series were left hanging because there were persistent rumors of an Evil Dead 4 that never materialized. Additionally, there was talk of Ash teaming up with two other horror legends for Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash, which is no longer possible, despite Robert Englund’s desire for Campbell’s hero to ultimately kill Krueger. None of these projects materialized, but rewarded Italian fans of the series with five additional sequels following Evil Dead 2—none of which, of course, are official.
