Throughout his life, Charlieonnafriday has had many musical inspirations. He cites Post Malone, Mike Stud, and Justin Bieber as some of his biggest influences while traversing the music and producing industry. These lyrical and musical forces have helped shape Charlie’s hip hop style to where it is today, and his new hit song “Sunset Avenue” shows a great example.
The song radiates “Summer in Seattle” energy, as it was written about Charlie’s Washington hometown during a recording trip in Los Angeles. He hopes to capture the emotions and experiences of being far, far away from home, along with missing the places where “[I] know I feel my best.” The realness of the song’s backstory allows the listener to relate in ways impossible for songs of similar style.
“Sunset Avenue” was co-produced by Casper do it Again, and amazingly was created during the two’s first ever recording session together. Luck aside, this track is the product of two people who are on the same wavelength when it comes to music and is a must-listen for anyone who loves feel-good songs.
