The primary actors in the “modern psychological thriller” Locked In, which is presently filming in the UK, are Famke Janssen (X-Men) and Rose Williams (The Power). The movie is being made for Netflix streaming and is produced by Nicky Bentham of Neon Films, with Alison Jackson of Gaumont serving as executive producer.

Nour Wazzi, who has directed several short films, TV episodes, and the horror anthology film Murder Manual, makes her feature film directing debut with Locked In. Rowan Joffé, who also co-wrote the screenplay for 28 Weeks Later, created a plot that contrasts Lina (Williams), a dissatisfied newlywed, against Katherine, her fragile, troubled mother-in-law (Janssen). A secretive, treacherous, and murderous journey for Lina starts with an affair and a seemingly destructive plan. But who is the true victim, and can she rely on them?

According to Deadline, Alex Hassell (Violent Night), Finn Cole (Animal Kingdom), and Anna Friel join Janssen and Williams in the cast (Monarch).

Wazzi has been involved in the entertainment industry for some time, as evidenced by the fact created their first short film included on her IMDB in 2008.

She has earned more than forty credits as an assistant director in the past eight years. Her 2010 short film Habibti earned awards at the Cyprus Film Festival, the Gold Lion Film Festival, and the Canada Film Festival. It will be intriguing to observe the outcome of her debut film.

It will be intriguing to watch Janssen in what appears to be an adversarial position. She has excelled at playing villains in movies like The Faculty and the James Bond film GoldenEye, where many moviegoers first encountered her. She has played the heroine in several movies, including the X-Men flicks and the haunted house horror picture 100 Feet.
