What MCU role would suit Adam Driver best?

There have been repeated rumors in recent months about Adam Driver meeting with Marvel Studios. Fans initially assumed Driver was meeting with the studio to explore playing the classic Fantastic Four villain Victor Von Doom, in light of Kylo Ren’s physical build and most well-known function as the antagonist in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. These claims even sparked some fan art depicting Adam Driver as Doctor Doom.

Now, in light of recent speculations that Adam Driver is Marvel’s top contender to play Reed Richards, The most recent fan art was motivated by the theory that he met with the studio not to talk about playing the Fantastic Four’s villain but rather their leader and father figure, Reed Richards. Marvel Studios has not yet made any public remarks regarding the Fantastic Four casting. Thus any speculation is speculative and should be taken with a grain of salt. John Krasinski doesn’t seem likely to take on the part again after playing a variant of Reed Richards in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness; Penn Badgley from You is another well-liked candidate.

The fact that Adam Driver is cast as both the Fantastic Four’s captain and their arch-nemesis demonstrates his flexibility as an actor. The Oscar-nominated actor has already demonstrated that he can play a revered and complicated villain like Kylo Ren and a physically imposing adversary like Doctor Doom. Driver’s repertoire also includes a more delicate side, as seen in films such as Paterson, which makes him an excellent option for the role of Reed Richards. The Driver is one of today’s top actors, and Marvel’s Fantastic Four would be lucky to have him as Reed Richards or Doctor Doom.
