It is difficult to commute every morning. It can even cost you a lot of money.
Imagine making 1000 every month as a “Professional Commuter.” You will still commute to your job.
One Irish company offers 1000 to people willing to commute to work every day. This company is from Dublin. Green Electric Scooters now offers 5 lucky participants the chance to make money to commute to their workplace. The participants have to share their experiences of their commute to their workplace in Dublin. You can apply for the job here.
What Does the Job Entail?
Each participant earns 50 every day for 20 return commutes every month. The participants commute to and from their workplace. The company hopes to know the difference in the time it takes to travel by e-scooter has against other means of transport, including private car and public transport. The company will also know how electric scooters affect the productivity of the employees, motivation in the place of work, and the mindset of these employees.
The description of the job states “For 4 weeks, our commuters will take part in various experiments to test out several theories, such as Dublin public transport vs e-scooters, and car transport vs e-scooters. We shall also do comparisons around stress, enjoyability and how commuting affects productivity, fatigue, and motivation at workplace.”
“The company requires each participant to video call them before and after every experiment to make sure the participant understands their tasks before they begin the task. There is a verbal questionnaire that details the results and experiences of the participants, so the participants will complete the questionnaire during the video call. The participant will get paid e1000 for participating in these experiments. And the payments are made once the participant completes the experiments.”
Electric scooters are more popular in countries where the law allows their citizens to ride their electric scooters on the road. The Irish government is currently reviewing the laws that surround electric scooters. Therefore, electric scooters are more likely to be legal before 2021 ends.
Green Electric Scooters’ Cormac Reynolds said, “We are seeing more people looking for easier, faster, and better ways to commute to and from their workplaces. It is cheap and fast to use electric scooters to commute and e-scooters are greener. Even though Dublin is one of the greatest cities, there are some issues with using private cars and public transport to commute.
We understand it is invaluable to get experience on e-scooters from various participants. We will use the data we get from these experiments to make the best product for our customers. We will also use the results to certify some theories we have around electric scooters. If you are ready to take part in our experiment or know someone ready to take part, then apply and share.”
