In 2022, The Most Shocking Masked Singer Reveals

The Masked Singer

Some of the biggest superstars in The Masked Singer’s history appeared in seasons 7 and 8 in 2022, and a couple of them were particularly shocking.

Even though some incredibly brilliant singers were in both seasons, the judges (Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, and Nicole Scherzinger) could not identify a handful.

The participants from season 7 had a better chance of remaining on the program longer than those from season 8 to the changed format. Still, even with the additional performances and clues, a few contestants truly astonished the judges and fans.

Some very well-known celebrities appeared in season seven of The Masked Singer, including Penn & Teller as Hydra, Jennifer Holliday as Teddy Bear, Kirstie Alley as Baby Mammoth, Shaggy as Space Bunny, En Vogue as Queen Cobras, Cheyenne Jackson as Prince, and the winner Teyana Taylor (Firefly). However, at least one judge from the panel correctly predicted each of those competitors. Joey Lawrence (Walrus), Mario Cantone (Maize), William Shatner (Knight), and The eighth season of The Masked Singer have all of the Brady Bunch guys as competitors (Mummies).

Jerry Springer (Beetle), George Foreman (Venus Fly Trap), George Clinton (Gopher), Gloria Gaynor (Mermaid), Nikki Glaser (Snowstorm), Wilson Phillips (Lambs), and winner Amber Riley were also correctly identified by the show’s panel (Harp). After such outstanding performances, all of these revelations were thrilling but not as shocking as some competitors, whose identities no one could anticipate.

Jorge Garcia As Cyclops

After three weeks of competition, Jorge Garcia, the Lost actor, was unmasked as The Masked Singer Season 7 Cyclop, shocking the panel. He sang the songs While he was a cast member of the popular series, he performed Creed’s “My Sacrifice,” Elvis Presley’s “Suspicious Minds,” and Irene Cara’s “Flashdance (What a Feeling)” are three examples. The panelists’ best guesses for Jorge were Kevin Smith as Robin, Zac Brown as Jenny, Dave Bautista as Ken, and Michael Keaton as Nicole. They did not even come close to accurately recognizing Jorge.

Rudy Giuliani As Jack in the Box

After Rudy performed “Bad to the Bone” by George Thorogood and the Destroyers in season seven of The Masked Singer, jaws dropped to the floor for various reasons. He baffled the panelists, who thought he might be Al Roker, Joe Pesci, Robert Duvall, or Robert Duvall as Robin or Jenny or Elon Musk as Ken (Nicole). Some applauded the former mayor of New York City, but Ken was angry to see the controversial politician’s identity revealed. After staying as long as he could, Rudy had to leave the stage.

Hayley Orrantia As Ringmaster

Hayley Orrantia, who finished second in season 7 of the show, played the Ringmaster for five performances without being recognized by the judges of The Masked Singer. Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb,” Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass,” Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You,” Sara Bareilles’ “Gravity,” and Katy Perry’s “Waking Up in Vegas” were just a few of the songs Hayley charmed the judges with during the audition. But none of them were able to guess who she was. As opposed to this, they speculated that Hayley might be Maren Morris (Robin), Hayden Panettiere (Jenny), Hailee Steinfeld (Ken), or Lucy Hale (Nicole).
