Los Angeles in the demo of the 13 dramas that CBS has conducted this season, coming at number 11.
In Scott Prendergast’s TV series So Help Me, Todd, a strict lawyer, compels her brash son to work as a personal eye for her office. Shenanigans follow, as you might hope.
Susan is played by Inga Schlingmann (Instagram), Todd Wright is played by Skylar Astin, Margaret Wright is played by Marcia Gay Harden, Allison is played by Madeline Wise, and Lyle is played by Tristen J. Winger. Rosa Evangelina (IMBD) Arredondo appears in the show as Francey.
It’s no surprise that the audience is extending, given the series’ unique mix of gripping legal drama, hilarious wit, and fascinating familial turmoil.
I’m overjoyed that the two amazing characters and their hilarious discussion will continue in a second season. The Renewal/Revocation Scorecard on TVLine has been revised to reflect the output of So Help Me, Todd.
