According to Deadline, Jenna Ortega and Percy Hynes White, the stars of the Netflix original series Wednesday, will reunite for the upcoming romantic comedy Winter Spring Summer and Fall from The Motion Picture Corporation of America.
Tiffany Paulsen, a screenwriter, will direct the love story in her feature picture directorial debut. It is advertised as “Before Sunrise meets The Perks of Being a Wallflower” in the winter, spring, summer, or fall.
The plot centers on Ortega and Hynes White as two teenagers on the verge of maturity who meet and fall in love over the course of four major days in the year. Dan Schoffer, who wrote the screenplay for The Chair, had Paulsen make adjustments.
“We’re delighted to be further diversified MPCA’s robust schedule with Winter Spring Summer or Fall,” said MPCA’s Brad Krevoy in reference to the feature.
He went on to praise the production crew for the new movie, stating, “Jenna incredibly gifted as an actor and producer.” and we know both she and Percy will bring heartfelt depth to their roles. This, along with Tiffany’s experience with character and her vision for this film, will only enhance the brilliant script from Dan.
Along with Josh Shader of Wall Fly and David Wulf, Krevoy is the film’s producer, and Ortega serves as the executive producer.
