Jesse Williams, star of Grey’s Anatomy, debuts in a new Netflix rom-com

Grey's Anatomy

First looks at the cast of the new Netflix romantic comedy Your Place and Mine, which also includes Jesse Williams from Grey’s Anatomy, Reese Witherspoon, and Ashton Kutcher, have been released.

Oscar-winner Witherspoon and Kutcher portray best friends Debbie and Peter, who switch lives and homes over a week in an experiment akin to that in the movie The Holiday, which was directed by Aline Brosh McKenna, the author of Cruella and The Devil Wears Prada.

Their lifestyles are opposed, with Debbie needing a routine in Los Angeles and Peter thriving in the fast-paced milieu of New York City.

But it becomes clear once they put themselves in one another’s shoes that what they believe they need could not be what they want.

Along with Tig Notaro from Army of the Dead, Zo Chao from Senior Year, Steve Zahn from War for the Planet of the Apes, Rachel Bloom from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and Griffin Matthews from She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Williams also stars in Your Place or Mine as Theo.

On February 10, the film will premiere on Netflix, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Williams has had a busy 2022, and the new year will bring more activity. He just made a cameo appearance as Dr. Jackson Avery on Grey’s Anatomy, and has now secured a juicy role in season 3 of Only Murders in the Building.

Williams will appear in the upcoming season of the Hulu and Disney+ murder mystery comedy-drama as “a documentarian with a particular interest in the case,” which will reportedly shock the residents of the upscale Arconia apartment complex, according to Deadline.

Season 19 of Grey’s Anatomy airs on Thursdays on ABC in the US. New episodes of the program debut every Wednesday on Disney+ in the UK.
