Netflix has set a premiere date for the ‘On My Block’ spinoff ‘Freeride.’

On My Block spinoff, Freeridge will premiere on Netflix on February 2.

Freeride is an eight-episode comedy about the sibling rivalry between Gloria (Keyla Monterroso Mejia) and Ines (Bryana Salaz), as well as their pals Demi (Ciara Riley Wilson) and Cameron (Tenzing Norgay Trainor), who have unleashed a curse that has brought terrible disaster into their lives. Michael Solomon and Zaire Adams also appear in the film.

Paula Garcés will reprise her role as Geny Martinez, Eric Gutierrez will play Ruben Martinez, Eme Ik0wuakor will play Dwayne Turner, and Raushanah Simmons will play Fran Turner. Peggy Blow, who portrayed Marisol Martinez, aka Abuelita, on On My Block, has also been cast.

What is Freeride?

The planned coming-of-age television series Freeridge was created by Jamie Dooner, Eddie Gonzalez, Jeremy Haft, Lauren Iungerich, and Jamie Uyeshiro.

Netflix made a season one announcement on September 27, 2021. In Los Angeles, California, production is expected to start on May 9, 2022, and run until July 5, 2022. The last day of the shooting was July 9, 2022. On February 2, 2023, it will be released.
