Simmons, an actor from Agents of SHIELD, directs a Gotham Knights episode

Gotham Knights

A Gotham Knights episode will be directed by Jemma Simmons from Agents of SHIELD, Elizabeth Henstridge. The CW still has a new DC TV program coming out this year, even as the Arrowverse is coming to an end. Gotham Knights, which has nothing to do with the video game of the same name, will make its debut on March 14 after Superman & Lois. From the Batwoman authors and executive producers, Gotham Knights followed Bruce Wayne’s adopted son and some of Batman’s foes’ kids. The program is not a spinoff, even though Batwoman’s creative team created it because it is unrelated to the Arrowverse. Gotham Knights are one of the few DC TV shows that will broadcast on The CW this spring.

There are now several episodes left to shoot for the first season of the Gotham Knights TV program.

A well-known member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is directing one of the last episodes that are still shot. Henstridge will helm episode 10, according to Natalie Abrams, one of the show’s creators and co-executive producers, who announced the news on Twitter. Henstridge directed an episode of Superman & Lois season 2 before her seven seasons as Jemma Simmons on Agents of SHIELD. The CW has yet to announce a specific premiere date for episode 10. Which DC characters have appeared so far in Gotham Knights?

While it doesn’t borrow from the video game, Gotham Knights’ premise—that it will follow the next generation of heroes—is comparable. Turner Hayes, Bruce’s adopted son, is falsely accused of his father’s murder after the latter is mysteriously murdered. While Turner is a unique character for the show, Gotham Knights will also feature several DC Comics characters who are falsely accused. One of them is Stephanie Brown, the daughter of the Cluemaster and is better known in the DC Universe as Spoiler, as portrayed by Anna Lore.

The Cullen (Tyler DiChiara) and Harper Row siblings are two more teenagers who will accuse of being responsible for the death of the Dark Knight (Fallon Smythe).

Duela (Olivia Rose Keegan), also known as the Joker’s daughter, is a DC character that has made it into Gotham Knights. The Supernatural star Misha Collins is bringing Harvey Dent to life before becoming the renowned Batman nemesis, although he won’t be Two-Face at the program’s start. Harvey will initially continue to serve as the district attorney for Gotham City. In some manner, Batman will also appear in the Gotham Knights pilot before he passes away.

Before 2022 ended, Damon Dayoub was also cast in Gotham Knights as Lincoln March, a minor DC figure with potentially significant connections to Bruce. In the comic books, Thomas Wayne Jr., Bruce’s long-lost brother, who had connections to the Court of Owls, was identified as Lincoln. Lincoln ultimately operated as Owlman, not to be confused with the Earth-3 character. Lincoln will be portrayed in the television adaptation as a “charismatic, self-made industrialist with ambitions to become Gotham’s next mayor.” Gotham Knights season 1 is anticipated to feature additional DC characters who have not yet reveal. After its March 14 debut on The CW as a DC TV series, it will be interesting to see how Gotham Knights do.
