Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s TM 125, Flamethrower, grants the power to send flaming fire jets to many Pokémon. Flamethrower is a potent Fire-Type move with a Power 90, Accuracy 100 special attack, and a 10% chance to cause burn, making it a useful move. A Pokémon that would not ordinarily be able to learn the move to additionally given the ability to do so thanks to the Flamethrower TM. It is advantageous because it gives players more freedom to assemble their squads.

Compared to earlier Pokémon games, the functionality of TMs to alter in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The player must begin creating it once they have the TM 125 recipe. The required items are 1000 League Points, 3 Houndour Fangs, 5 Litleo Tufts, and 3 Numel Lava. Fighting wild members of their respective evolutionary lines makes farming the Tufts, Fangs, and Lava simple. League Points, or LP, are acquired organically throughout the game, but if a player runs low on them, they can quickly replenish their stock by selling any extra resources they possess. The user must utilize the TM Machine at any Pokémon Center to create a one-time-use item after gathering the necessary materials.

Due to the Same Type Attack Bonus mechanism and their high Special Attack numbers, several strong Fire-type Pokémon debuted in Pokémon Scarlet, and Violet are excellent candidates for learning Flamethrower. Therefore, instructing them in this move is completely up to the gamer.
