A person complained that his OnePlus Nord 2 smartphone burst, causing severe burns. Suhit Sharma reported the explosion on Twitter on November 3, a day before Diwali.

“Never anticipated this from you look what your product has accomplished.” Please be prepared for the ramifications. Stop messing with people’s lives. Because of you, that guy is suffering, please contact him as soon as possible,” (sic) the user stated on Twitter, posting various photographs of the now-burned OnePlus Nord 2 unit as well as the injuries the event allegedly inflicted.

On the same day, OnePlus reacted to the tweet, requesting the user to communicate with the company through DM so that it could check into the situation.

“Such situations are taken seriously by us.” “Our staff has already contacted the user, and we are gathering information to further examine this,” OnePlus stated in a statement.

Since the debut of the OnePlus Nord 2, there have been a number of accidents.

Since the OnePlus Nord 2’s release in July 2021, there have been three notable occurrences that have received momentum on Twitter, all of which involve explosions. Aside from the most recent example, there have been two others in which the phone reportedly burst in the gown pocket of a Delhi-based lawyer, as well as one in which the phone’s charger supposedly detonated.

The other event was reported on September 26 by Nord 2 user Jimmy Jose from Bengaluru, India. “My OnePlus Nord 2 warp charger exploded with a loud bang and blew away the socket.” “Fortunately, I’m still alive to make this tweet,” the user claimed in a tweet. Take a look at it below. Smartphone explosions are not as unusual as you may assume, and there have been reports of phones from other manufacturers exploding in recent years as well. However, it is doubtful that the same model will face criticism several times for situations like these.
