The Winchesters Might Have Resurrected Supernatural’s Main Villain Inadvertently

The Winchesters

It was only a matter of time before the Winchesters made their return. According to TVLine, Supernatural has been filming its eleventh season in Vancouver, and some fans have spotted villainous actor Robert Singer on set. Although no official announcements have been made yet, it seems as though the show is finally gearing up for its big return, which means the Winchester brothers may be facing off against one of Supernatural’s most notorious villains once again. Who is this mysterious character? Time will tell, but until then, be sure to revisit our blog regularly for all the latest Supernatural news!

A God may appear in The Winchesters Episode 8

In a recent interview with MTV, series director Jeremy Carver teased that the eighth episode of season 8 may feature a “god cameo.” While not confirming or denying whether the character in question is referring to the Biblical figure of God himself, Carver did say: “We’ll see what happens in the eighth episode. We’ve been teasing it for a while.”

Fans have speculated for months about who this God may be, and many believe it could be Lucifer himself. The season 7 finale, “Sam & Dean Winchester Lost at Last,” saw the archangel leave Earth after Sam tricked him into revealing his true form – an elderly man with long white hair. If Lucifer returns to Supernatural, this will make him the show’s main villain for its final season.

Other potential candidates include Metatron, who took on a god-like form in the seventh season finale “Goodbye Stranger,”; or even Crowley, who was resurrected as a demon in the fifth season finale “The Devil You Know.” Regardless of who it is, any appearance by God would likely be one of Supernatural’s most iconic moments ever.

What Mary and John Would Think If Chuck Appeared In The Winchesters

According to Supernatural executive producer Jeremy Carver, Chuck may return in the show’s eighth season. It could mean big changes for Mary and John Winchester.

Chuck has been missing from the show since Season 5, so it’s unclear what his return would entail. However, if Chuck returns, it could mean big changes for both Mary and John.

Mary has always been fiercely loyal to her brothers and father, but Chuck’s return could cause her to reassess her loyalties. After all, she was close to Chuck and considered him a friend. Now that he’s disappeared and could be out of reach, she may question why she ever felt that way toward him in the first place.

John, meanwhile, is likely going to be worried about his sister. He idolized Chuck and looked up to him as a surrogate father figure. Now that he’s missing and might be in danger, John will want to do whatever he can to keep Mary safe. It could include hunting down Chuck himself if necessary.

The Winchesters Can Retcon Chuck’s Supernatural Ending

Chuck’s finale left many questions unanswered, one of which is what happened to the demon. It was hinted that he might have been taken back to Hell, but according to the Winchesters, they can retcon Chuck’s supernatural ending and bring him back as a monster instead.

Fans of Supernatural were elated when they learned that the show would be returning for its tenth season. However, some fans were disappointed with Chuck’s finale, which saw him return as a demon. The Winchesters may have secretly brought him back as a monster to close out his arc and bring Supernatural full circle.

This theory was first proposed by Reddit user u/Nerd_Punk27, who argued that Chuck turning into a demon was an “illusion” created by Metatron to distract the Winchesters while he took over their minds. According to this theory, Chuck “reverted” back to his human form just before he killed Adam Milligan and escaped prison.

This idea has been supported by several other Supernatural fans on Reddit and Twitter, including u/SerenitySorrows and u/GothamGirl415. These theorists believe that bringing Chuck back as a demon was only an illusion created by Metatron, similar to how he tricked Sam and Dean Winchester into thinking Jessica died in season four. If this is true, it would mean that Chuck’s final scene in the finale was never actually meant to happen – meaning Jensen.
