Jack Quaid celebrates the holidays by donning a festive sweater with a The Boys motif. Since the provocative superhero series’ 2019 Prime Video premiere, Quaid has played the role of Hughie Campbell in the main cast. When A-Train (Jessie T. Usher), a hero with a heroin dependence and the ability to travel at the speed of light, murders his fiancée, Hughie, a civilian, joins The Boys, a vigilante band attempting to take down The Seven.
You may be familiar with Hughie on a Buoy, but who is Jack in a Jumper? is the query that might read. Alongside a behind-the-scenes image of Quaid wearing a sweater with a Boys-inspired design and Homelander’s distinctive eagle logo on the official The Boys Twitter account. The produced sweater is just for the celebrity, but they are considering reproducing the pattern to maybe sell to the general public next year, they revealed in a follow-up tweet. What Will The Boys Do Next in the New Year?
2023 will be a terrific year for The Boys fans; the show has been off the air since the conclusion of season 3 this past summer. One reason is that they are filming season 4, formally renewed in June, in the middle of the current season’s run. The season will also mark Jensen Ackles’ return as Soldier Boy, a Captain America parody who joined the show this year and was later revealed to have a closer relationship to one of the pre-existing surfaces than first thought. The season will feature a presidential run that is improbable to end well.
It is not the first series to branch off from The Boys overall, but the first live-action spin-off is getting ready to debut in 2023. The animated anthology series The Boys Presents: Diabolical, which debuted its eight-episode season 1 this past March and featured cameos by The Boys cast members Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, and Chace Crawford, among others, marked the franchise’s first foray outside of the main branch. The Boys: Gen V is a television series, but much more is to come.
