Josh Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting may be in prison, but he is still causing havoc, despite being placed in solitary confinement. The oldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar has had a tumultuous upbringing. It’s still incredible that Josh could get away with his unethical behaviour for so long.
Josh was found guilty of having child pornography by a jury of his peers in December 2021. The 19 Kids and Counting star was sentenced to 12 years for his offences.
Josh, one of Jim Bob and Michelle’s 19 children, has been in the news several times for his troublesome behaviour. Josh reportedly abused five adolescent females in 2002 and 2003, two of them were his sisters, according to tabloid reports in 2015. Jim Bob attempted to cover up the event at the time by sending Josh to Christian-based counselling instead of calling the cops.
Josh Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting is in hot water.
According to The Sun, Josh was recently detained due to behavioural difficulties. His poor behaviour was motivated by his “sneaking” in a cell phone. The 19 Kids & Counting star was in a Special Housing Unit (SHU). Josh has been staying in FCI Seagoville, located near Dallas, Texas. Josh is not expected to be released until August 2032.
The conditions in Josh Duggar’s prison are harsh.
For years, the Texas jail has been on the radar for its extraordinarily harsh circumstances, with many inmates protesting. According to the source, the prison has been detaining detainees in the Special Housing Unit indefinitely and not allowing them to leave, even when they attend DHO hearings, which are supposed to inform the convict of their release date.
It was alleged that the situation had deteriorated to the point where the regional office paid an unexpected visit to check on the complaints. Another source earlier informed the magazine that the detainees are housed in circumstances that leave them susceptible to sickness.
