More About The Offering
An exclusive film from Screen Rant shows Art (Nick Blood) looking inside the apartment of the man he assisted in embalming, probably after strange things started happening in their house. Every flat surface in the residence is covered in books, and the walls are decorated with odd symbol artwork. A cassette player and scary cassettes marked “Summoning Attempt” are found by Art.
He listens to the victim’s account of his ordeal on the tape while it is still in the cassette player. The dead man’s voice indicates doubt about the world around him since he is plagued by horrific dreams that make him regret calling the monster. While listening to the tape, Art makes a shocking discovery: a carving on the floor that appears connected to the demon seeking his unborn kid.
From more recent box office hits like M3GAN to timeless horror classics like Rosemary’s Baby, the horror genre frequently capitalizes on parents’ anxieties about their kids. A parent’s deepest dread is that their child would be targeted by something unstoppable, unimaginably powerful, and out of their control. The Offering, a chilling new horror film, delves into this fear while incorporating Jewish faith and family drama into the plot.
Nick Blood (Agents Of Shield), Paul Kaye (Game Of Thrones), & Emily Wiseman are the stars of the film The Offering (Winchester). Hank Hoffman wrote it based on a story by Jonathan Yunger. The Offering’s director is Oliver Park.
