According to Avatar News’ tweet, an original animated series is in the works. The next earth Avatar in the cycle after Aang and Korra will be the subject of the television show. Even though the social media post just provides a few series of details. However, the official announcement has provided a storyline indication. “However, a very basic assumption based on earlier Avatars indicates that if it is set 100 years after Korra’s time, it will be in the Avatar world’s equivalent of our present day.”
The release of an animated film, slated for October 10, 2025, will keep the Avatar brand busy. These two publications in the same year are “part of a far wider scheme,” claims Avatar News. According to the official report, the new series may debut in November 2025 or December 2025.
The adult versions of Aang and his companions and their new adventure will be the main subject of the animated feature. The movie is also the inaugural endeavor of the recently established Avatar Studios. The studio is now “working on several projects at once.”

The Live Action Series
Avatar: The Last Airbender, the original television series, debuted in 2005 and ran until 2008. Aang, an airbending Avatar, served as the series’ primary character. To become an avatar, he had to endure a long period of adversity. There were three seasons in all for the show.
The success of that series led to the release of The Legend of Korra on Nickelodeon in 2012. The adventure of the Water Tribe’s Korra was depicted in four seasons from 2012 to 2014.
In September 2018, Netflix first revealed plans to recreate The Last Airbender as a live-action television series. On Twitter, Netflix Geeked has posted a fresh update.
