Hollywood heavy hitters have spoken out about shooting movies in Canada, namely Whitby, for Netflix.
Mila Kunis, who appears in the thriller Luckiest Girl Alive, which prominently uses Trafalgar Castle School, and Jason Mamoa, who acts in the family-friendly fantasy Slumberland, discuss what they appreciate about shooting in Canada in a new Netflix series called Netflix in Your Neighbourhood.
“I was ready to relocate there and then my husband told me all about your winters and therefore I chose against it, but I was down for the summer,” said Kunis, who brought her children to Toronto for summertime filming.
Momoa said he had a great time in Toronto and that “Canadians are exceedingly, extraordinarily friendly. Toronto’s incredible food is one of my favorite things.
Momoa claimed, “I really stole a chef from Toronto,” since he enjoyed the meal so much. He currently resides with me.
