More than 6,500 Russian citizens received targeted assistance from the foundation, which paid for their wheelchairs, prostheses, rehabilitation and medicines.
Among the largest projects of Skoch’s Foundation are:
- The “Debut” Prize in the field of literature. With this prize, young authors under the age of 35 were awarded between 2000 to 2016. During this period, hundreds of thousands of writers from Russia, the CIS, the USA and other countries took part in the competition.
- The “Healthy Childhood” Award. For outstanding achievements in the organization of medical care for children. The premium fund exceeded 22 million rubles.
- A prize in honor of the academicians Bakulev and Burakovsky was offered for achievements in the field of cardiovascular surgery.
