Elon Musk has been persuaded to set up units in India by Telangana Industry and Commerce Minister KT Rama Rao, who has expressed his intention and said that he would be glad to partner with Tesla in working through the hurdles.
Elon Musk, the founder and CEO of Tesla, stated in a recent tweet that the company was dealing with a variety of challenges when it started operations in India. Rama Rao’s statement was in response to that tweet.
In 2020 Elon Musk make the announcement that Tesla would establish electric car factories in India. India Motors and Energy Private Limited is a subsidiary company of Tesla.
Bengaluru is the home of the company.
