Savannah Chrisley

Todd and Julie Chrisley’s daughter and Chrisley Know Best star Savannah Chrisley doesn’t comprehend why her parents got a longer sentence for their criminalities than Jen Shah.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star entreated guilty to wire fraud for her involvement in a national telemarketing scheme that targeted senior people.

On January 6, the reality TV star was sentenced to six-and-a-half years in jail. Meanwhile, Todd and Julie were found blameworthy of intrigue to commit bank fraud, intrigue to defraud the U.S., and tax evasion.

The couple was sentenced to a combined 19 years in jail, despite maintaining their innocence.

On January 17, Todd and Julie began their sentences, while Jen will begin hers on February 17. During a current episode of her podcast, Unlocked, Todd & Julie’s daughter, Savannah, compared her parents’ sentence to Jen’s and couldn’t comprehend why they got a lengthier sentence.

She saw that putting the side of the case by the side did not make sense. Savannah noted that most of Jen’s victims were older people, and her parents had been convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion.

She said, “There were hundreds of elderly victims, and people who submitted stories about losing their homes threatened to end their lives. There were so many different things, and she got six-and-a-half years. That makes sense!”

Julie Chrisley Offers to Determine Her and Todd’s Sentencing

Savannah mentioned her parents, noting that Todd and Julie refused to confess culpability and had maintained that posture throughout their journey.

She also stated that the Chrisley family is sticking to their story, claiming that they are innocent and that there were no victims in their instance.

Julie was also there during the podcast episode, which aired only hours before she and Todd were scheduled to report to jail.

“None of it adds up,” said the Chrisleys’ matriarch, “and to me, there’s more to it.” Julie stated that she was devoted to discovering what it was and getting to the other side of things so they could help others in similar situations.

According to Savannah’s comments, the Chrisley family fears foul play in their punishment or that the authorities are biased against them.

Todd and Julie have always maintained their innocence and attempted to overturn the guilty conviction, but their efforts were ultimately useless. Despite the severity of her offences, Jen received a lesser term due to her guilty plea.

The Chrisleys, on the other hand, maintained their innocence but were convicted guilty. As a result, the court may have concluded that they were not sorry, resulting in harsh sentences.

Although Savannah has every right to shed light on the difference between her parents’ sentencing & Jen’s, she shouldn’t be focusing on that now.

The Chrisley family is in a complicated phase now & should focus on remaining together and pulling through for the next 19 years rather than concentrating on things they can’t change.

Also, Julie should focus her energy on managing prison life rather than trying to find the source of something that may not exist. Hopefully, the Chrisley Knows Best patriarch and matriarch, as well as their family, will emerge stronger and better from this period.
