The first two seasons of Ginny and Georgia dramatically diverged by nearly two years. The second season was somehow more reasonable — and more theatrical! — than the first, so the wait was helpful. What does that entail for Ginny & Georgia’s third season?
Although Netflix has newly been a little too eager to pull the motivation, given how Georgia’s wedding went, we distrust the show will stop there. Ginny & Georgia’s cancellation at this time would be dishonest. The fact that the 2nd season premiered at No. 1 in English-speaking Netflix demands for January 2–January 8 shows that things are going well.
According to Deadline, it obtained 180.47 million viewing hours, hardly a million less than Netflix behemoths like Bridgerton & Dahmer. It also expelled Wednesday from first place, which needed some sort of juggernaut to accomplish.
Ted Sarandos, CEO of Netflix, noted the program at a speech in January 2023 (via Forbes), albeit he added a fascinating qualifier. “Unbelievable film civilization may be found in India. Consider how long it has taken for us to be concerned about Indian cinema in the U.S. Or American broadcasts of Korean media. Last year, 60% of our users surveyed Korean content. So, everything is extending.”
“There are examples when that stuff is only of attraction to Americans and doesn’t broadcast outside. Presently, we are watching Ginny & Georgia. That is an amazing U.S. achievement.” Ginny & Georgia are so popular in the U.S. that they may soon be up for renewal.
Release Date for Ginny & Georgia Season 3
We won’t lie; it was challenging to wait 23 months between seasons one & two. Assuming that Netflix will renew Ginny & Georgia for season three, hopefully, the opening will be smaller this time.
However, we are confident about the show’s future, and assuming no further pandemic-related delays, we expect brand-new episodes to be released by the beginning of 2024. They simply must arrive as quickly as possible.

Remember the cast from the flashback scenes, led by Nikki Roumel and Kyle Bary as Georgia Miller and Zion Miller when they were teenagers. According to reports, Mitchell is eager to begin his third season as Zion.
In an interview with Digital Spy, he emphasized his enthusiasm for season two. It was fantastic. Every moment I get to spend with this cast is fantastic. Just getting to know Zion and investigating his relationship dynamics with his parents, Georgia’s co-parenting arrangement, and his true support for Ginny in critical moments.
So perhaps Vinessa Antoine, who plays Simone, will appear more frequently, which has only one potential interpretation. Georgia nearly managed to keep her envy under control, but she won’t be able to do so indefinitely.
However, I feel she is the source of that love, and I genuinely hope she learns it. Let’s hope she infuses her sense of humor about the bad reaction Max receives from fans into Max’s future adventures, as she does in her TikTok video.
